FAQ BIFFF Online
A. General information
1 - When can I watch the features & short films?
The viewing period begins on the 6th of April at 7:00pm and ends on the 18th of April at 11:59pm. All the films are available during the entire festival, except if they are sold out. There are 2 films which will be available for a limited time: Seobok (15th - 18th April) and Riders of Justice (18th April from 7pm till 11:59pm).
2 - Until when do I have access to the content on the platform?
The films will no longer be available on the 19th of April. This means that movies that are then playing, will be stopped and cannot be resumed.
3 - Can I watch the films outside Belgium?
No, the content is only available in Belgium.
4 - Can I watch a rented film during the entire festival? Can projections be stopped and resumed later?
Every film has a playback period of 48 hours. Once you have started to watch a film (once you have pressed “play”), you can stop and resume viewing during the next 48 hours. After this time, if the film is still playing, it will be stopped and cannot be resumed. In case you missed the playback period, you will have to rent it again to watch it.
5 - I rented a short film bundle. How long do I have to watch the content included in the bundle?
Each item included in the bundle has a playback period of 48 hours. Once you have started to watch a short film of the bundle (once you have pressed “play”), you have 48 hours to watch it. The rest of the short films will be available even if some of the other content has already expired. Attention, once the first short film is expired, the bundle may appear as expired but this will not be the case, as the playback period applies to item by item and not for the entire bundle.
6 - What does it mean when a movie is sold out ?
All films have a maximum number of views, so it is possible that some are “sold out” as it happens in theaters when physical tickets run out.
